Forty years ago, Camps Bay attracted us as a young family with its Village by the Sea ambiance, great schools, open spaces, and proximity to the CBD for work. In the years that followed, the commercial strip intensified, and residential densification became a justification for unsympathetic and insidious real estate development. I joined the CBCRA Manco, driven by a desire to help guide and protect the physical and social qualities that initially drew us to this community. My passion lies in Urban Design and Heritage Conservation, focusing on creating happy public spaces. I freely give my time to contribute to preserving what makes Camps Bay special.
